Having an overall healthy diet full of fruits and vegetables will help in reducing the risk of heart disease, stroke and certain types of cancers. Many recent studies have shown that vegetables have high anti-cancer nutrients inside of them that can help you increase your risk of getting this horrible disease. Diets rich in fibre, which come from Carrots, beets, and broccoli, will greatly reduce the risk of heart disease, obesity, and type 2 diabetes. Vegetables like mushrooms and most leafy greens will, with the help of an overall healthy diet, lower the chances of having low blood pressure, developing kidney stones and help to decrease bone loss.
