Dairy is the cause of acne for most people. So, avoiding dairy, or becoming a vegan, is one way you can help prevent or slowly get rid of acne. Vegans and Vegetarians eat a lot of fruits and vegetables which pass on important nutrients and minerals that give our skin a 'golden-looking glow'. Also, fibre from produce and whole grains increase this healthy glow by getting rid of toxins. Plant based diets are low in fat because they avoid the pre-clogging fat of animal products. Some of the nutrients that vegetables and fruits have that help to fight wrinkles and brown spots are Vitamin C and E. Some foods that contain these vitamins are avocados, tomatoes, pomegranate, mango and broccoli. According to Health Magazine, the zinc found in most beans helps fight off zits, pimples, inflammation and redness. Increasing your intake in fruits and vegetables could help you in many ways, including improving the quality of your skin!
