Many people eat out at restaurants to enjoy a cooking-free meal and some great-tasting food. But do you know how harmful the food can be for you? One example of a restaurant dish that may not look as unhealthy as it actually is, is Alfredo sauce. I was surprised to find out that on average the sauce itself has 996 calories inside of it! This means the total dish of a is over 1500 calories! That is almost the amount of calories the average teenager should eat in a day! Out of these 996 calories 154% is fat and 313% is saturated fat. That means when your body processes that food most if it will turn into fat.

After reading that you may be very shocked on how badly restaurants can impact you in the long run. Many people even while realizing how bad this can be still choose to go to restaurants, because they are too hard to let go of. Before I made the choice to be healthy I went through this exact feeling. Taking baby steps towards living a healthy lifestyle is probably the only way you can actually get there. As you change your diet you will slowly start seeing changes in how your skin looks or your clothing size. Restaurants may be a fun experience but it can affect you a lot in a bad way in the future. You should be careful of what you eat inside of home and outside of home because it can impact your overall health.
