Vegetable Fajita

My previous post discussed the unhealthiness of Mexican Food; however, at the restaurant, I found one somewhat healthy meal: Vegetable Fajita.
This delicious entree meal came on two large plates, one plate with a couple of thin white flour wraps and the other filled with red and green peppers, onions, guacamole and beans, that were carefully drizzled with olive oil. Although the first plate contained health-worsening carbs, the second plate allowed me to sigh with relief because I would be eating something with health benefits.
This dish had its downsides, which included the white flour wraps, but it gives the eater an opportunity to consume some vegetables in their meal. On average, this course has 628 calories, including the vegetables, beans, lettuce, guacamole, salsa and one 6-inch tortilla. That is equivalent to eating 6 Kit Kat bars! Most of these calories are from sodium, which take up 1732 Mg, is the same as having 3 servings of large fries at your average fast food store! The amount of sodium an average person should have in one day is 1500 Mg; this meal itself goes over that amount!
This meal is one of the healthiest to eat when you have to go to a Mexican restaurant, but it is important to avoid it whenever it is possible.
